Forum: Using VET to Close the Gap and Expand Skilled Workforce Participation
Special guest, Ethan Chadd will discuss how Vocational Education and Training (VET) can bridge workforce participation gaps by creating accessible pathways that build a skilled and diverse workforce, driving growth within local communities.
Ethan will also reflect on the rich heritage of the Indigenous people around the Perth area, whose deep connection to the Swan River and traditional skills represent a foundation of resilience and knowledge. He will highlight how integrating this heritage into VET programs honours local history and supports sustainable, community-centered futures.
Attendees will gain insights into the transformative role VET can play in promoting workforce inclusivity and cultural respect, with practical ways to support these initiatives.
Afterwards, we would love you to join us for sunset drinks, canapes and networking.
