New CEO Tony Palladino
The Food, Fibre and Timber Industries Training Council is looking forward to Tony Palladino joining the team as CEO. Tony starts with us on Monday 2 September. Originally from WA, Tony is returning to Perth after several years in NSW and Abu Dhabi. He has extensive experience in the Vocational Education Sector, most recently as Executive Officer of the NSW Utilities and Electrotechnology Industry Training Advisory Body (ITAB). His organisation has very similar objectives to us, so Tony has heaps of experience in providing advice to government on the workforce and training needs of industry. Plus a major project for the TCF Sector
The Textile Clothing and Footwear (TCF) industry is undergoing a significant post-pandemic transformation, changing the nature of workforce occupations and skills. This new project will seek to collect further information about the current workforce and whether the qualifications in the national Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Training Package, meet workforce needs. These insights will help identify future JSC activities and projects to support the industry in addressing its workforce requirements.
