New State Training Plan 2023-2024
Great to see the new State Training Plan! The plan outlines key priorities to guide the State Government’s investment in VET over the next two years.
A lot of the consultation that we undertake feeds into this document and subsequent policies and actions. By providing industry intelligence on the current opportunities and barriers that exist in our industries, we can influence policy, so our industries have access to a highly skilled and agile workforce.
Particularly good to see a focus on building regional skills capacity and providing a pipeline of apprentices and trainees - both themes were very evident in our consultation earlier this year.
