Good News! Additional Support to Employers
There are several recent budget announcements offering support to employers who take on an apprentice, trainee or young worker. These incentives may help you to grow your business and bring new skills into your workplace:
Jobmaker Hiring Credit ($200 per week for hiring 16 to 29 yrs old; $100 per week 30 – 35 years old)
Apprenticeship Support - All these initiatives are in addition to the usual Incentives available from the Australian and Western Australian Governments. Contact an Apprenticeship Support Service Network provider for details.
New Free Training for the Production Horticulture Industry
Relocation Assistance to take up a job
Not forgetting the WA “Primary Industries Workers Regional Travel and Accommodation Support Scheme” which will provide targeted assistance to farming, fisheries and food processing businesses in regional areas
