Apprenticeship and Traineeship Advice
Apprenticeships and Traineeships are structured employment-based training that results in a nationally recognised qualification. They remain a WA Government priority.
FFTITC advises:
-
The State Training Board on the creation of apprenticeships and traineeships, and their conditions, such as the nominal duration and whether they are available part time or for school students; and
-
The Department of Training and Workforce Development on apprenticeship and traineeship policy and delivery issues.
If you see an opportunity for a new apprenticeship or traineeship or to improve a current apprenticeship or traineeship, please contact us for advice and assistance.
Contact an Apprenticeships Support Network Provider (Apprenticeship Support Australia, Busy at Work, or MEGT) if you want to:
-
Take on an apprentice or trainee;
-
Know what apprenticeships and traineeships are available; or
-
Know if you are eligible and what financial incentives are available.
